Happy Un-Birthday Baby P!!
So . . . we'll be heading to the hospital on Wednesday evening to get the process started. We aren't too thrilled about the idea of inducing the labor, but we want a healthy baby and a healthy mama so we're following the Dr's orders. Either way, it looks like she'll be here sometime on Thursday or early Friday.
Tonight we'll continue celebrating her un-birthday with a nice Italian dinner out. The one thing I am going to do in the next 24 hours is eat. From what I hear, once I check into the hospital it's liquids, ice pops and ice for at least 24-36 hours- so I'm going with a full belly. We all know I get cranky when I'm hungry :)
Here's where we'll be.
The Bryn Mawr Hospital

Bryn Mawr, PA 19010
Phone: 610-526-3000 (for patient info and to connect to our room)
www.mainlinehealth.com (click on Bryn Mawr Hospital on the left side of the page) This site has directions, visiting hours and a link to the web nursery where we can put her hospital picture online . You will need a password- so check back here and we'll post the login info once the picture is available.
Keep us in your thoughts and prayers these next few days! We can't wait to announce the arrival of our little girl. Thank you all for all of your love and support over the past 9 1/2 months.

Preparing for baby
Turning the room from sage green to pink and cream was a challenge. I think Ian ended up painting more than 6 layers- between primer and 2 of each color. I also changed my mind halfway and we ended up mixing colors to make the pink lighter and the white more creamy. He deserves a medal for putting up with my indecision. It turned out perfect!
Ian and dad working on the chair railing and new base molding for the room. It sounded like a good idea when we started, but it was quite a project. Funny how that happens with most home improvement projects.
I'm going to leave out the final result, as an attempt to get everyone to visit us and see it first hand . . . but I have to say it's pretty cute!

I know . . . it's been a long time
These was taken at Easter- almost 6 months along. And I thought I was big then- ha ha ha!
Mama relaxing at the pool. There is no such thing as a flattering maternity bathing suit- so I settled for the cheapest one I could find!
On the beach in Florida- on our babymoon (last vacation without baby). This was the end of May- about 7 1/2 months along.
Hope you enjoyed the catch up. I will promise to post more over the weekend!!
